Most electric and gas providers offer cash-back rebates or low-interest financing for customers who purchase energy-smart equipment. In many cases, the incentive amount can cover the added cost of upgrading to high-efficiency products.
Alliant Energy incentives
If you’re an Alliant Energy utility customer in Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin, you can take advantage of money-saving incentives on your new appliances.
Iowa and Minnesota incentives
With Alliant Energy’s Efficiency Solutions program, homeowners in Iowa and Minnesota can earn cash back on a high-efficiency EnergyStar clothes washer. In addition to lowering your water heating costs by $100 or more a year, you’ll get a $150 rebate on the purchase price.
Low-interest financing through Wells Fargo Bank is also available on qualifying equipment.
Wisconsin incentives
For Wisconsin customers, Alliant Energy partners with Focus on Energy to offer cash rewards on EnergyStar products, including clothes washers, refrigerators, dishwashers and more.
