Most electric providers offer cash-back rebates or low-interest financing for customers who invest in new high-efficiency compact fluorescent light bulbs. In many cases, the incentive amount can cover the difference in purchase price – or even the entire cost of the bulb!
Alliant Energy incentives
If you’re an Alliant Energy heating customer in Iowa or Wisconsin, you can take advantage of money-saving incentives on energy-smart light bulbs.
Iowa incentives
Residential electric customers of Alliant Energy in Iowa can earn cash back on compact fluorescent bulbs.
Alliant Energy-IPL will send you a $3 cash incentive per qualifying compact fluorescent bulb. There’s a minimum purchase of five, and a maximum purchase of 10 bulbs.
Wisconsin incentives
For Wisconsin customers, Alliant Energy partners with Focus on Energy to offer cash rewards on efficient lighting products, including bulbs, fixtures, torchieres and ceiling fans.
